MINDFULNESS MEDITATION WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS

We all know we should be living more in the present moment, but the question is 'how'?

This workshop is designed to teach you ‘how’ to meditate or strengthen your existing meditation practice and ‘how’ to live a more mindful life.

 

There will be instruction on various kinds of mindfulness meditation practices including seated meditation, deep relaxation and mindful walking. There will also be discussions on the what, where, why and when of mindfulness and meditation. By the end of the workshop you will have learned how to set up a home meditation practice, have tips on how to be more present throughout your day and will receive meditation podcasts from Tracey.

 

All levels of meditation experience welcome - including beginners!

 

 

BIO:

Tracey Delfs is the founder of www.balancequest.ca and has been leading numerous mindfulness workshops and retreats throughout Canada and Internationally over the last 15 years. 

 

Tracey enjoys brings mindfulness meditation into the corporate setting in Calgary, as well to Olympic athletes and the general public. She has been studying with World-renowned Zen and Mindfulness Master Thich Nhat Hanh since the late 1990's - who is often coined as the "Father of Mindfulness".  Her passion is to share these teachings on mindful living and meditation with others, helping them to live more balanced, healthier and happier lives
