Ayurvedic Luncheon (Pre-register)


Ayurvedic Luncheon Prepared by Chef Neeraj Raturi

Round out your Ayurvedic workshop with, or come to simply experience, an authentic Ayurvedic lunch. Chef Raturi will prepare a meal designed to create a specific effect in the body. Each meal is based on one of the Ayurvedic constitutions (doshas) of Kapha, Pitta, Vata, or Tridosha.

Dates are:

Sat Sept 8, 2018: Kapha (Earth and Water)

Sat Oct 6, 2018: Pitta (Fire and Water)

Sat Nov 3, 2018: Vata (Air and Space)

Sat Dec 1, 2018: Tridosha (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space)

Each luncheon follows the morning Ayurveda workshop from 12:10 - 1:00 pm. You do not have to attend the workshop to enjoy the luncheon, but you must pre-register no later than one week in advance. All menus feature vegan and vegetarian food. If you have any specific allergies, please let us know and we may be able to accommodate.

Kapha Menu

Soup: Red Lentil Soup with whole wheat papri crisp

Couscous: Warm couscous with artichoke, carrot, celery, and bell pepper salad

Dessert: Cherry, apple, and pear chat with Himalayan black salt

Pitta Menu

Soup: Cream of broccoli with lentil cumin papad crisps

Soya Chunks: Soya chunks peas and potatoe stew with hand made whole wheat rotis

Dessert: Mango Kulfi

Vata Menu

Soup: Sweet potato, carrot, and ginger soup

Rice Pilaf: Healthy beetroot pilaf served with radish, pomegranate, and pineapple salsa

Dessert: Mango flavoured coconut rice kheer

Tridosha Menu

Soup: Parsnip and pinenut soup with fried kale crisp

Vegetable Biryani: Mix seasonable vegetable biryani with cucumber and roasted cumin raita

Dessert: Carrot and coconut halwa
