Whether you’re looking for a physically-focused class or one that is more spiritually oriented, YARD has something for you. Since our humble beginning, we’ve offered a wide range of classes. Our Summer Unlimited sessions are the best deal of the year and designed to help you fit your yoga in while still enjoying all the offerings of the outdoor season in Red Deer!
YARD has always been inclusive of all teachings of yoga, and we’re pleased to continue offering diverse classes. Check the schedule below for full information on the classes that are available this season, and know that you’re always welcome at YARD.

ALL-IN: 3 Months for $199
This is your best deal EVER! $6/hour for 2 classes per week. $4/hour for 3 classes per week.
Can't make it for the full summer? We offer a MONTHLY option.

We have the full summer session available as well as monthly registration. Due to our wonderfully low prices, our Student rate does not apply over the summer. Even a student can afford to come!

Please note: YARD Studio will be closed on July 3rd and August 7th for the long weekend holidays.

Monday 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Wake up to your day and start your week fresh with this moderate level Hatha yoga class.
Posture Alignment Tune-up
Monday 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Finding pure movement to help with posture and alignment. Well suited to those who want to refine their postures. Open to all levels.
Monday 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Power based flow class designed to warm and energize the body/mind. This level is more basic but still provides a healthy challenge.
Warm to hot: not suitable for pregnancy.
Gentle Modified Yoga
Tuesday & Thursday 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
Just as it says: modified and gentle. This class uses props and chairs to help anyone find their inner yogi. Especially helpful for seniors and those who are living with physical challenges.
Tuesday 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
This class will get you pumped up and moving. Strong power flow to awaken your energy and really feel yourself alive in your body.
The room is heated to 30 degrees Celsius.
This particular class is not suitable for pregnant women or those with medical conditions for which heat and strenuous exercise are contraindicated.
Tuesday 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. / Friday 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
A rich practice which includes special sequences to connect to the energy body, deep relaxation, chanting, and meditation.
Not recommended for pregnancy.
Easy Morning Flow
Wednesday 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
What better way to meet the mid-week than an easy flow practice? Gentle vinyasas pick up your morning and keep you moving through your week.
Deep Stretch Yin
Wednesday 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. / Friday 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
A quiet and meditative practice with long holds and focus on mental equanimity to target the joints and soft tissues of the body.
Thursday 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
A variety of yoga practices to give you that quick morning fix.
Happy Hour Hatha
Thursday 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
A fun, lightly challenging, and multi-faceted hatha yoga practice.
Stretch & Strength Yoga
Friday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
A little bit of each: stretch your body and find your strength.
Gentle Chill-out Yoga
Sunday 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
