Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra (Sleep of the Yogi) is offered at YARD on the last Sunday of each month.
This non-postures class is perfect for people who would like to experience an extended relaxation (savasana). This practice induces brain waves similar to sleep, yet the participant remains awake, aware and alert. It is believed that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to 3 hours of sleep.
